Choice Privileges Rewards
Customer stays at WestWing Hotel will have full right to get benefit from Choice Hotel Privileges Reward Program.
GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
Rewards Program (“Program”). Choice may amend these Rules and Regulations at any time. For Canadian residents, the Program is owned by Choice Hotels Canada, Inc. and administered by Choice.
Choice Hotels International, Inc. (“Choice”) provides these Rules and Regulations for the Choice Privileges®
Choice offers program membership to individuals 18 years or older only and not to corporations or other entities. You may establish and maintain only one Member Account.
After reviewing your completed Member Application, Choice will provide you with a Member Number. When you receive your Member number, Choice will inform you when you are eligible to receive Hotel Benefits and earn points. Choice will not apply Choice Privileges points, or provide you with Hotel Benefits before processing your application and activating your Member Number. You can earn Airline miles and Amtrak Guest Rewards if you are not a Choice Privileges member.You must maintain a U.S. (including U.S. territories), Canada, Europe (including British Virgin Islands, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy and Saint Martin), the Middle East, Africa, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, or Asia-Pac (including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Papua New Guinea and Fiji) address to be a member, receive hotel benefits designated below (“Hotel Benefits”), earn and redeem points, and have access to Program online statements.Membership is not allowed in the following countries: Belarus, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Liberia, Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Sudan, Syria and Zimbabwe. Address changes may limit our ability to mail certain items or communications outside the U.S.
U.S. and Canada Members:You earn Choice Privileges points or Airline miles or Amtrak Guest Rewards points for individual travel on the following qualifying rate plans (SRPs). They are: Best Available Rate, Advance Purchase, Corporate, VIP and Net Preferred, Government/Military, Travelers’ Discount, AAA/CAA, PSCIEN, Package Rates, Small Organization Savings/Significant Savings, Senior Rate, Sports Rate, CPSA, Preferred Customer Savings Rate, Savings at Work, negotiated rates (N) and select LSRPs.International (Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pac, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America) members:In addition to select rates outlined above for the U.S. and Canada, Choice Privileges points can be earned for the following qualifying rate plans internationally: Best Available Rate, Advance Purchase (LEARLI, LADV), Negotiated Rates (N), Standard Corporate, Standard Government / Military, Standard Preferred Corporate, Standard Net Preferred, Automobile Association Rates, and Standard Senior Concessions, Point eligibility of Package Rates (P) differs from region to region and must be confirmed locally.
You must be a U.S. active duty or reserve military member, retired military, National Guard, U.S. Coast Guard or eligible spouse/dependent with appropriate military identification over the age of 18, to qualify for the Choice Privileges Armed Services Program. Choice Hotels reserves the right to disqualify anyone from the Choice Privileges Armed Services Program, who does not fulfill the membership requirements at any time. (U.S. only)
POINT FORFEITURE POLICY
Choice Privileges members must remain active in the Program to retain the Choice Privileges points they accumulate. If a member is not active within 18 consecutive calendar months, that member will forfeit all accumulated Choice Privileges points. Beginning February 1, 2016, members have until August 1, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time to engage in a qualifying activity before this forfeiture policy is enforced. Any qualifying activity after February 1, 2016 will keep members’ points active for an 18 additional months. Starting August 1, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time and continuing on the first day of each subsequent calendar month thereafter, Choice Privileges points will be forfeited in accounts with no qualifying activity during the previous 18 consecutive calendar months. Qualifying activity keeps your points active for 18 additional months, beginning with the first month in which your activity is completed through the 18th month of inactivity. A qualifying activity is completed when points post or are removed from your account.
Members who earned points between January 1, 2015, and January 31, 2016, under the former point expiration policy, which carried a firm expiration of points on December 31, 2017, and December 31, 2018, respectively, will be eligible to request any points forfeited under the new forfeiture policy (stated above) be reinstated to their member account by contacting member services. This point reinstatement is only available for points earned between January 1, 2015, and January 31, 2016, and forfeited on August 1, 2017, where the member had no qualifying activity under the new forfeiture policy but whose points would not have expired until December 31, 2017, and December 31, 2018, respectively, under the previous point expiration policy.
To maintain an active status in the Choice Privileges Rewards Program and retain accumulated Choice Privileges points, you must engage in qualifying activity, such as completing a qualified point-eligible stay, redeeming Choice Privileges points, earning points from a purchase using your Choice Privileges Visa® card, earning points with one of our partner programs, purchasing points, and referring a friend.*
Not all activities count toward maintaining an active status in the Choice Privileges Rewards Program. The following are some examples of non-qualifying activities that do not count toward maintaining an active status in the Choice Privileges Rewards Program: completing a non-eligible stay, registering for a promotion, gifting points (only counts as a qualifying activity for the member who receives the points, not the member who gifts the points).
*The refer-a-friend option awards points to your member account when a friend enrolls in the Choice Privileges Rewards Program and completes a point-eligible stay. Your points will remain active for an additional 18 consecutive calendar months based on the date the points post to your account, not on the date when you refer your friend.
